About the event
Welcome to the 4th Shamanic Skills Class in this series, which focuses on Vibrational Tree Medicine and Divination using the Ogham. Learning energetic herbal medicine techniques is an ideal way to honour the arrival of Spring's buds and flowers!
In this class, we dive deeply into relationship with the consciousness of trees, including:
- History of the Celtic alphabet, known as the Ogham, and modern use as a divination tool - Practising using the Ogham and creating a personal tree mnemonic - A group divination exercise - Teaching on how vibrational plant medicine works, and its relevance to the Druids - Basic process of creating plant essences that can be taken internally - A ceremony where participants ingest a plant/tree essence and are guided into communion with the plant consciousness. I will have several different plant/tree consciousness essences for you to choose from.
NOTE: These plant essences are handcrafted with care and expertise. They are completely safe. Similar to homeopathic medicine, they contain a minute quantity of actual plant material and work instead on an energetic level.
What to bring:
- Before arriving, please have in your mind an idea of the first tree/s you remember connecting with as a child, and what environment they are associated with - A cup/mug for ingesting the plant essence - Eye mask, blanket, and mat for journeying - A pen and journal/notebook
$25 for the class, which includes handouts, teachings, guided practice and ceremony, circle for sharing and discussion, recommended homework, and access to some mentorship between classes. Facilitated by an experienced practitioner.
